The Captain's guest room is located on the second floor of the Inn. It is a large bedroom decorated with antiques of a nautical theme. In the 1800's, Hermann's riverfront was one of the busiest on the Missouri River. Steamboats were built here for travelers as well as for shipping. This guest room has a sitting area with a vaulted ceiling, two wingback chairs and a ceiling fan. There are 5 large windows and a queen size pillowtop brass bed. The large bathroom has an antique clawfoot tub/shower in the center and some of the original brick work has been exposed on one of the walls.
